Our Story
Our journey began at my family cafe, Bliss Momos, where I often found myself showing people how to make coffee. What stood out to me back then wasn't the act of teaching, it was the importance of understanding the nuances that shape a good cup. It became clear to me that people learned best when they had room to understand the nuances, not just follow the steps.
Barista Bee Coffee School was created as a hands-on coffee school shaped by that understanding. It's a calm, supportive space where people can slow down, explore, and understand the "why" behind each part of the process. It's a space that honours each person's pace and learning style, allowing confidence to grow naturally through clarity, presence and hands-on practice.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a relaxed, supportive space where every student feels safe to explore, express, and learn in their own way. We honour each person's unique learning style by offering calm, hands-on guidance that helps them build confidence at their own pace. Through practical barista training and coffee courses, we aim to make coffee education accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for everyone interested in learning the art and science of coffee.
Our Approach
We believe the best way to learn coffee is by making it. That's why our classes are kept small, hands-on, and relaxed. Every session is designed to build confidence, creativity, and real café skills, without the stress of large classrooms or long lectures. Students gain experience with espresso preparation, milk steaming, brewing techniques, and café workflow through hands-on practice. We focus on understanding the process behind every cup, helping learners develop both technical skills and confidence in a real-world coffee environment.
